Academic regulations ensure that all students are treated in a fair way – from your admission to the university, to assessments and the qualifications that you are awarded. They describe the academic conduct expected of our students and staff, and set out criteria for making judgements about students’ academic performance. They also protect the academic standing of the university and the academic integrity of our awards.

General policies and guidance provide students with a safe and supportive environment to study, learn and socialise. All Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ students and staff are expected to take responsibility for this, giving everyone the opportunity to realise their full potential.

This document covers the main terms and conditions of the contractual relationship between you and the university, including the applicant stage. It highlights items that might be of particular interest, including our tuition fee policy, course changes and complaint handling.

This document answers basic contractual questions that we are asked most often by applicants and students. It also explains important and sometimes unfamiliar terms that form part of your student contract.

In limited circumstances, students have a right to cancel their contract with the university.

We encourage students to try and resolve any concerns with their course, facilities or other university provision, by speaking to your school complaints officer first. This is so that matters can be resolved quickly and locally where possible.
